Suddenly this Balance
It appears to be a sensitively composed studio photograph, in which every detail seems perfectly arranged. However, on closer inspection, it becomes clear that something is "off". Some of the objects not only appear fake but are also obviously placed in an unstable way, as if they could collapse at any moment. It is this subtle inconsistency in the image that prompts viewers to think about the nature of artificial cohesion. How long can a faulty system rely on another before it collapses? How many lies does it take to conceal a truth?
